What’s the Project? These easy after school snacks are not only kid-approved, they are simple for moms to pull off. A great way to welcome the kids home after school each day!

After school snacks have become a bit of a tradition in our home over the last year. It’s a great way to connect with the kids when they walk in the door, and with four kids in three different schools, it’s a nice chance for me to settle down for a few minutes with each of them in the first minutes after they get home.

My boys love it. And I love that I get a chance to chat with them about their day. I’ve actually been surprised how much I can get them to talk when they get home just by having food around.

Maybe that shouldn’t have surprised me with 3 teenage boys and one growing 9-year-old…

Now, this year not all of the kids are IN school right now because of all this craziness, but it might still be nice to have an afternoon snack idea up your sleeve to shake things up after a long day of homeschooling or online school, so maybe give these fun after school snacks a try!
