What’s the Project? Looking for a fun way to brighten someone’s day or just do something nice for someone? These just because gifts are perfect to take to friends or neighbors or anyone whose day you’d like to brighten. They will love receiving this thoughtful little present.
I’ve been feeling a little bit overwhelmed lately with the hard things that are happening, but more specifically with the negativity, the divisiveness, the contention that’s been going on.
It makes sense that people are stressed out, but the negative feelings don’t make that any better.
In thinking about this, it’s struck me that the best way to combat the negativity, unkindness, and fear, is to do anything that I can to put GOOD into the world.
I can’t solve the problems and they aren’t going to just disappear, but what I can do is try to be a bright spot in people’s day, to remind them that there is goodness and happiness in the world and to just be loving.
So, with that in mind, I’ve been wanting to make these little treats and deliver them to friends. I love just because gifts for friends or neighbors because it surprises them and makes them smile.
So I got it in my head that it would be really fun to make mini bundt cakes because they are SO CUTE! And then I had the idea to add sprinkles, because again, SO CUTE! And then it all came together for this cute just because gift idea that I used to brighten friends’ days. At least I hope it did. 🙂
Sprinkle of Fun Just Because Gifts:
But you don’t have to use bundts to make this cute gift. Anything with sprinkles will work. (Like these funfetti cookies.) You could also do donuts or cookies that you grab from the store. Or cosmic brownies. So many ideas.
If you are going to make bundts, here’s what you need:
- Mini Bundt Pans
- Mini Bundt Containers (love these! They fit so perfectly.)
- Bundt Recipe (you can use any but I used these Chocolate Bundt Cake Recipe & Vanilla Cake Recipe)
- Sprinkles (any kind)
Instructions:
Bake your little bundts or grab your donuts or brownies or cookies or whatever you are using and package them up in something that you can transport them in.
