What’s the Project? These cute back to school cupcakes are super easy to make and will bring a smile to your child’s face after his or her first day of school! Made to look like an apple, you’ll feel like a pro making these…but they are so easy with only two simple steps!

Close your eyes and imagine with me for just a minute.

Silence fills your house…wait-was that one of the kids fighting you just heard? No, that sound came from outside.

The sink is full of…nothing. The dishes are done. The floor is swept and the counters are wiped.

Nobody needs you. No one is fighting. No snacks need to be made.

It’s back to school and the kids are gone for their first day. Does the change hit you pretty hard like it does me?! (Ahhhhh the peace!) I LOVE having our kids home for summer. I also LOVE it when they go back to school.

Now, I know some of you still have little ones at home even when your older ones go back, but even that change of pace can be nice and deserves to be celebrated…with cupcakes!

These back to school cupcakes are the perfect way to celebrate the return to a school year. They are SO simple for you to make and your kids will love them!
