What’s the Project? If you’re looking for something to do while the turkey cooks, these Thanksgiving crafts are fun to try! Great Thanksgiving craft ideas for kids, adults, and everyone in between, with a range of projects—treats, decor, favors, and table settings.
Food and football, people and parades, turkey and time with family…I’m so excited for Thanksgiving this year.
In the last few years, I’ve started just embracing the Christmas season starting the first of November (and honestly I’m usually working on Christmas blog posts by about mid-October) and while it feels fun at the time, I feel like by the time Christmas passes I am sick of it all.
So this year I decided to slow it down and put on the Christmas breaks until after Thanksgiving and I’m so glad that I did because I am really enjoying this November season.
I love thinking of my blessings and what I’m grateful for. It just makes me happy. I love the coziness of my home on these getting colder days and I love the anticipation of the holiday season without being totally in it yet.
But here it is—Thanksgiving is upon us! My kids are out of school starting Wednesday and I think it would be fun to do some Thanksgiving crafts with them before the big day. So here is some Thanksgiving craft inspiration for me and for you if you want to spend some time crafting too!
I’ll throw in a little bit of a mixture here on these Thanksgiving crafts. We’ll have some food crafts and some more traditional crafts. We will have a few Thanksgiving craft ideas for kids and a few for adults. Just take a look and see what sounds fun to you and get crafting!

Thanksgiving Crafts to Make:
OK, here’s a look at some easy Thanksgiving crafts to get you rolling! I’ll be excited to hear which of these you think you will try first and which you love best!
I just think these little turkeys are so cute! Make them for each of your guests and put them on the Thanksgiving table or have them as Thanksgiving gifts to grab when they leave. This cute craft would be really fun to make with kids too.
Add a little fun to your table setting with this craft—utensil holders. Print on cardstock and then fold your napkins and pop them in with a fork, knife, and spoon and you’re all set! Simple and fun.
As someone who loves candy corn and chocolate, this Thanksgiving treat is way too much fun! We love to have a turkey-themed treat at each place setting and this might need to be a new one that we try. Who could resist that little turkey face?
Whether you love pumpkin pie or not, you’ve got to admit that this garland is adorable, right?! Super simple to make with construction paper or cardstock, a pompom, and string. Unfortunately, the site doesn’t have a tutorial anymore, but I think this picture will help you get started.
A super simple snack that would be great for a party or to make with the kids. Just tissue paper, twine, and bags needed. Then add popcorn and you’re all set!
This pretty wreath can have its spot on your front door all month. Inspired by Fall leaves but with flair, this turns out so pretty.
Another simple one that the kids will love making—turkey favors filled with popcorn or a favorite treat. Hot glue or Elmer’s glue a face on a brown paper cup, stick feathers on the back, and then fill it up with whatever you want. You could use these as place cards at the table too.
For a twist on corn, make these little favors using sixlets. Stamp or print cute little tags or you could put names on the tags. Great for Thanksgiving decorating too.
I love this idea because it’s not only decorative, it’s meaningful too. Write things that you’re grateful for and hang them on this beautiful centerpiece.
Can you tell how much I love cute little turkey treats?! These ones are SO cute and with Reeses’s cups on them, they will be a crown favorite!
This DIY project is unique and creative. Use the kids of mason jars to make a pumpkin!
This is a perfect project for little kids, especially if you have leftover pumpkins for Halloween!
Paint a jar and make it a luminary. You could do a whole row of them for your mantel or for your table.
Cute candy turkeys that also work as place cards for your Thanksgiving feast.
Love this pretty bunting! Hang it over your serving table or on your wall all month.
Goofy but fun! And the kids will love these little sock turkeys.
A great way to think about what you’re grateful for with this easy paper craft turkey.
Gotta love this crayon holder. Pair this with coloring pages or placemats and it’s a match made in heaven!
A classic—pumpkins made from wood slices. Super simple.
More cute treat ideas! How cute are these?!

I love this idea because it’s so unique and creative!
Wrap a wreath form in ribbon or tulle and add a face and you’re all set!
I hope you have so much fun making these cute Thanksgiving crafts and have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

Loving the Bingo game print outs.
Plan on having a Zoom Bingo for all the Grandkids since we are having to postpone festivities because of COVID. Dropping off printed bingo cards and a bag of Candy Corn (to fill their squares) the day before the holiday. This way they can keep busy while the cook works her magic in the kitchen!
