Our family loves the minions-how about yours? I’ve done several minion projects in the past (here and here and here), but with the new movie coming out soon I wanted to do something new and different and fun to celebrate! I made these simple, easy minion cookies. They are easy enough that the kids can even help you make them!

Easy Minion Cookies

Really, so simple to make. And you can make them any face you want! Get creative!

Minion Cookies:

Supplies Needed:

  • Yellow frosting
  • Black and grey frosting (I just made these using food coloring gels)
  • Candy eyes (I find mine at Target but many stores have them now in the baking section)
  • Sugar cookies-any recipe will do

Instructions:

This is probably fairly self explanatory, but frost your cookie yellow. Then pipe frosting (you can just use a sandwich baggie with a tiny bit of the corner snipped off) to make the black eye band. Smooth out with a knife if needed.

Place the candy eye in the center and pipe grey frosting around it.

Add a smile and you’re good! Or add hair or two eyes or whatever you want!
