I love birthdays (I’ve probably made that pretty apparent by now). It’s so much fun to have an excuse to celebrate someone and do fun things like picking out a perfect gift or decorating the house or eating a fabulous birthday treat! Birthdays just make life more fun!
Add candy to the birthday mix and it’s so much fun I can hardly handle it!
This candy wreath is a perfect way to celebrate someone’s big day. You can add any kind of candy, then hang it up as a surprise or just give it as a birthday gift! So simple and so fun!
That made you happy to look at right?! A great birthday gift for anyone! (At least anyone who likes candy and who doesn’t?)
How to Make a Candy Birthday Wreath:
Supplies Needed:
- Wreath Form
- Large bow
- Hot glue
- Candy-get a variety
- Small piece of ribbon
Instructions to Make a Candy Wreath:
We started by gluing the big bow to the top of the wreath:
Then, simply begin gluing candy to the wreath all the way around overlapping as needed.
If you are using chocolate just be careful that the glue isn’t so hot that it is melting the chocolate. You can put the glue on, let it cool a few seconds, then add the candy.
On the back add a small loop of ribbon to hang the wreath. You can pin or hot glue it in place.
And then hang it somewhere for the birthday kid to see! Or take it to a friend’s door! This candy wreath is super fun to give!
Enjoy making a candy wreath!

May seem like a stupid question, but can you eat the candy? How do you get it off if it is hot glued in place?
