2 sticks butter, softened. What weight are these?

I am British and have got cup sizes for baking, but I don’t understand 2 sticks of butter. Is one stick 2ozs?

Here’s what google says: 1 stick or 1/2 cup butter is equal to 4 ounces, or 113 grams.
