I have a personal size Cricut, and while it served me well for awhile, I’d really love to have a machine capable of bigger tasks…especially for creating things around the home (not just scrapbooking). I started researching machines and decided my upgrade would definitely need to be a Silhouette. It would be so amazing to win one!

My daughter is finishing her Masters of Education and will have her own early elementary classroom next year and has already put me on notice that she expects me to be their class Grandma-so this Silhouette would definitely get a work out between the two of us!

I quilt, make baby bedding and baby clothes, felt play food, and in my spare time, whatever my family needs. Right now I am working on an advent calendar for my granddaughter and would use the heck out of that silhouette for cutting numbers and embellishments. I really hope its my lucky entry because it would save me a TON of time I now use to hand cut.

After being my mom’s caregiver for the last ten years (she has passed away now and I was blessed to have those years with her) I now have some time for myself. I find that I am trying to find my balance, and reclaim the fun and creative part of life that I had no time for previously. I’d love to win this machine to help with that. I could make gifts and beautiful things for my home, and maybe even create some things to sell…that would be fantastic.

I have the first version of the Cricut and love it, but this and the Cricut Explore are SO much better. I just started a new online business selling lots of custom & handmade items and SO much of what I’m making I either add vinyl decals or make my own stencils, all with my Cricut and the Silhouette would be so much easier, more materials I can cut, more size options, no cartridges needed.

I myself am an avid crafter, and a silhouette would allow me to do so many more crafts that I have always wanted to try! It would also make card giving a whole lot more fun. Not to mention the fact that I have been wanting to try your “Easy Gift Box Tutorial” and haven’t been able to because I don’t have a silhouette.

Thanks for the awesome cookie recipes!

I love all things crafty and sewing. I have a new grand baby and more on the way! (I am positively praying for that) I would love one to be able to do all the neat things I see here and other sites. It would be a great addition to all that my daughter and I do. We also help to co ordinate weddings and this would be so much help for all the things we come up with! I would just love one!

I love that with the silouette you don’t need cartridges! I have the original cricut and I would use it a LOT more if I had more images to use with it. And you can cut fabric with it!!

Great looking treats. Thanks for sharing. What I would do with a Sillioute (sp) I would give it my friend. She has several illnesses, and they a fixed income and I would love to give it to her. I know she would be shocked and so excited. She is a scrapbooker and worked for a scrapbook company until several turns and illnesses. Her husband lost his job after a years, when they were at fault and he tripped and fell and can’t use his one had, as it damaged parts of it when the merchandise fell on him. Christmas is about giving and even though I don’t have one I would give it to my friend Melody.
