Christmas is great. I love the Christmas season, but usually by the time the actual day rolls around I am pretty ready for it to be over.
But New Year’s Eve is my jam! I think because expectations are lower, it’s just a chill evening eating too much and hanging out with my family, I just really love it.
I love the New Year’s Eve finger foods and tend to eat WAY too much that night. I love playing games and having a whole evening to spend time together with few expectations to live up to. I love hot tubbing which is a tradition of ours for New Year’s. And I love that now that my kids are older they actually sleep in the next day.
Seriously, I think it’s my very favorite holiday.
