What’s the Project? This cookie dough holiday neighbor gift is easy to make and a huge hit with the neighbors. Make or buy some cookie dough and add this cute tag and leave it on the doorstep. They will love it!
Last year the holiday season got so crazy busy that I never did neighbor gifts. And I know they aren’t everyone’s thing and it’s fine to not do them, but I genuinely love doing them, so I was bummed that I didn’t get the chance.
So this year I did them early. We made and delivered these gifts over Thanksgiving weekend.
With Covid this year, I wanted to find something sweet to do for my neighbors and friends but I didn’t want it to be unsafe. My hope was that by delivering cookie dough, they could bake it and cook out any germs that might be in it.
Turns out, it was a huge hit! And it was easy to do it this way. I made batches and batches of this in just an hour or two.
Then add this cute tag and you’re all set.
Our friends loved it! A fun and easy neighbor gift!

But for now, let’s take a look at this one!
Cookie Dough Holiday Neighbor Gift Idea:
You can do this two ways. You can either make your own cookie dough and add the tag, or just add the tag to a store-bought package of cookie dough. Either way, it’s going to be great!
If you’re going to make your own, you can either wrap it in Saran wrap (that’s what I did) or get some cute little containers to put it in.
Here is the cookie dough we used (and highly recommend).
Or grab the store-bought stuff! Also great!
Cookie Dough Neighbor Gift Tags:
Here are some tags for you. You can either save the image to your computer and then size and print how you want or you can click on the PDF and print a sheet with a bunch of tags on it ready to cut out and use.
