If there is one holiday I really love it’s the 4th of July. I think it’s in large part just because I love summer so much and the 4th of July encompasses all of the best summer traditions-BBQs and outdoor games and being with friends and family. Today I have a simple, easy way to decorate for the 4th of July (or any other patriotic American holiday). It’s printable (and foil-able) 4th of July bunting!
So simple but so festive!
Not only is it printable, but you can make it extra fancy and shiny by adding foil with a Minc Machine!
Don’t have a Minc yet? Let me tell you a little bit about it:
- You can get them at Jo-Ann and Hobby Lobby or online here
- Simple print a design with a laser printer and then run it through the Minc with the foil color of your choice and the foil adheres to where the ink was (blows my mind every single time)
- Or, buy premade products that you can foil (same places that you buy the Minc)
- Foil in every color
So much fun!
4th of July Bunting:
Here are the print files for this bunting. Just print them and cut them, then punch holes in each side and string them up!
This PDF file has one of each-stars and stripes-ready to go:
Or, if you want the actual images, here they are:
Now let me show you how this works if you are using a Minc! Because while these are cool either way, they are definitely more fun with foil on them!
I got my files printed to the local print shop in black and white:
(One tip-try to get a darker print than I did. The better quality the print the better the foil will adhere.)
Then I cut them out and cut foil just slightly larger. Place them in the folder that runs through the machine, set the machine to 3 for heat and send them on through!
When they come out you simply peel the foil sheet off and bam! You have something fancy and fun!
It really is mind blowing!
What are you going to foil first when you get a machine?
