Easter Craft Ideas:
This is one of my favorite projects that I have ever made because they turned out so cute! Little chicks and bunnies in jar form. All you need is small jars, glue, glitter, and some decor like bunny ears or little chick feet and googly eyes.
A super simple one for little kids, make these sun catcher Easter eggs with different colored strips of tissue paper.
Bust out the markers or crayons! These cute coloring pages are a huge favorite for kids of all ages (and adults too—coloring is so soothing!)
Grab some yarn in lots of colors and get wrapping to make these easy eggs. Another one that is simple for many ages.
Awww! How cute is this little lamb? She’s made from lots of little Q-tips and you could add the bow or not, However you want the little lamb to be!
Doilies aren’t just for Valentine’s Day anymore! Make some cute painted Easter eggs with a doily and your creative skills. The kids can gete as colorful as they want with these.
I just can’t get enough of this cute one! How darling is this little chick made with popsicle sticks? Another really easy one that could be great for the classroom.
And if you like crafts that use popsicle sticks (because they are easy!), here’s another one for you. Make a fun carrot with a couple of popsicle sticks painted orange and topped with green paper.
Another cute little sheep—and this one is really creative! It uses bubble wrap that’s painted to make it look fluffy and fun. You know the kids are going to love love love making this one! (Who doesn’t love playing with bubble wrap, right?!)
How cool is this?! Decorate aluminum foil to look like an Easter egg. You know it’s going to be so satisfying to decorate that egg on foil. And you can get as creative as you want decorating the eggs. Make a bunch!
Here’s a nice religious one for celebrating the reason for the holiday. Use watercolors to paint this cross. This could be a great one for a church activity.
Another fun carrot, this time made with yarn! And handprint toppers. This seems like a good one for the little ones in classrooms to try out. Maybe have carrots or carrot-themed snacks to go with it.
My mom used to love to do salt dough crafts when I was a kid. And we made a bunch with her. These painted Easter eggs are fun because you can decorate a bunch in all different colors and all different patterns. I think some of my boys might even enjoy doing this Easter egg art.
Salt Dough Easter Eggs Ornaments
Grab a paper plate and lace-up this chick. This one is probably a little bit trickier and might be good to try with older kids, but I know that many kids will love trying their hand at this fun project! Paper plate crafts are always good for school projects because they are easy to transport.
How about a little origami or something like it? Make these cute 3D eggs using any combination of papers that you want. They can be bright and bold or more subtle and pastel. Have fun with any combo.
Darling, right?! Grab some cotton balls or pom poms and make a cute little sheep mask and then take pictures. Moms will love this because they can keep the pictures forever and remember the good old days. (That’s the phase I am in because my kids are mostly teens now.)
How cool are these Easter eggs?! So colorful and so fun—another one that I think even the older kids might really enjoy trying!
This is a fun way to recycle those old egg cartons after you dye your eggs. Make a little Easter chick in any color and decorate it with beaks and eyes. So cute!
One more painted egg one, This one with watercolors. Doesn’t get much easier than this!
Gotta love this cute little finger puppet. Easy to make and then fun to use! The kids are going to love that!
This one is really simple—perfect for preschoolers and kindergartners. Just add a face to the little sheep doily.
I think I remember doing this as a kid? Does anyone else? Use a potato to create an Easter egg stamp and then have fun using it to create cards or stationary. The kids are going to love this because it’s so different from what they normally do. You can also use it to make a fun garland to use as Easter decorations.
How creative are these little plastic spoon flowers? A fun way to welcome Spring! You could make them in many colors.
This one is unusual, but perfect for young hands. Grab some cardboard and get painting!
Need a fun Easter activity? Hopefully, you’ve found some great Easter crafts for kids here that are going to be great fun to do with your family. It’s a fun time of year and it’s always fun to do things with the kids. Enjoy your time with them and have fun making these cute projects.

The origami rabbit is so cute! However, when I click into it for directions it takes me to the Doily sheep project. Is there another way to get to the rabbit directions?

Thanks very much for the wonderful ideas and beautiful coloring pages. I read around the Christmas holidays that salt dough ornaments are very dangerous for dogs …. maybe you could check that out and put a notation so that people would be aware. Have a lovely day!
