What’s the Project? Make your party extra festive this year as you celebrate America with this red, white and blue charcuterie board. It’s easy to put together and makes a fun addition to any patriotic gathering.
It’s the night before the 4th of July here and I am getting ready to celebrate America! It’s such a fun holiday and my boys love it (and so do I). I love hanging out with friends and grilling or swimming or watching a parade. It’s just such a casual, fun holiday, and a great chance to celebrate our country.
Mostly though, I love the food.
Lately I’ve had fun putting together twists on the original charcuterie board (which typically has meat and cheese) with fun ideas, so this year for Independence Day I thought it would be fun to throw together a red, white, and blue party board and it turned out great!
Can’t wait to eat it up!
How’s that for festive?! And it was so easy to put together. I even had help from the kids, which they loved. Lots of fun!

Now, the beauty of a charcuterie/party board is that you can put anything you want on it, so customize this to your own needs! But here’s a rundown of what I included to get you started with some ideas:

- Swedish fish (or other red candy)

Really, anything red, white or blue will do! What other ideas do you have?
How to Put Together a “Charcuterie” Board:
It’s simple to put this together, but here are a few tips.
Grab a cutting board or tray of some sort to build your board on.
It can be helpful to use a few bowls, just to break things up and contain some of the smaller items that you are using.
Then, layer things around it. For this one, you will want to be careful that you are spacing out your red from your white from your blue so that you get a good balance. Just pile things on until you’ve covered the whole board.
And that’s it! It really is easy, right?
I love it!
Have so much fun making and eating this red, white, and blue party board!
