What’s the Project? Whether it’s for a Halloween party, to take to someone, or something fun to do with the kids, these easy Halloween cookies are fun to make and turn out so cute! You’re going to love them!
One of the reasons I love Halloween is because there are so many excuses to get in the kitchen and make fun treats with my kids. It’s fun to create memories and traditions with the kids and even more fun to eat yummy treats…even if our pants are getting a little tight.
These darling cookies are a perfect Halloween treat for at home with the kids, at a school class party, for a bash you’re hosting or to take to someone as a fun surprise. They’re different than most easy Halloween cookies you see-decorated with sprinkles and googly eyes. Who can resist?
And seriously-they taste great too! Easy to make, cute, and taste amazing. You can’t beat that, can you?
I love the little ghosts with the googly eyes so much, but I did several versions. These witch hats are perfect if you are throwing a witch’s night out party! Or if you just love cute witch hats!
Everything is more fun with sprinkles, right?
Easy Halloween Cookies:
Supplies Needed:
- Sugar Cookies (make your own or grab store-bought)
- Sprinkles
- Frosting
- Halloween Stencils
- Edible Googly Eyes (optional)
Cookie Decorating Instructions:
The first thing you need to make sure you have is stencils. We made our own. To do this, find an image you like on the internet and either using a cutting machine (like a Cricut) to cut it, or print it on card stock and then use an exact-o knife to cut out the edges. (See image below.)
Grab your cookies and frost them.
Then gently lay your stencil on the cookie.
Sprinkle heavily.
Then gently peel your stencil off.
Be careful not to tilt the cookies too much or the sprinkles won’t stay where you want them.
Add googly eyes to your ghosts if you want or extra sprinkles to your witch hats or any embellishments that you want!
I hope you have so much fun making these easy Halloween cookies! And eating them. 🙂
