What’s the Project? If you love sewing bags, you are going to really LOVE these free bag patterns. More than 30 bags that you can choose from to sew for yourself or others. Everything from tote bags and purses, duffels and messengers, there’s something for everyone here!

If it hasn’t already become apparent here at Crazy Little Projects, I love to sew bags. And I sew a lot of bags.

In fact, more often than not if I am going to sit down and sew something, it’s going to be a bag.

Do you like to sew bags? I thought it would be fun to pull together a roundup of 25 free bag sewing patterns so that we could all happily sew away on bags. Here are the free bag patterns to sew:

    Hi, I’m thirteen and I’ve been sewing bags for about a year and a half now.I just love it so much! I made bags for my friends for christmas of 2012 and I’ve been in love with it since. All of the patterns above look fantastic and I just have to make them. Planning on making at least two this afternoon. Thanks for the amazing patterns!

    I’ve made several of the Organizer Wallets…they’re a big hit and a great stash buster. Right now I’m actually in the midst of making a version of the She Carries Flowers Bag for my mom. 🙂 and your Beach Bag is on my to do list for before summer…I want to make it with a mesh bottom so the sand sifts through. 🙂 I love the shape of it!
    These are all great projects!
