I’ve got Teacher Appreciation Week on my mind because it’s coming up at our school and guess who’s in charge of it at our school? That would be me. So, I’ve spent a lot of time this week working on gifts and posters and treats and schedules. I want to show you some of the teacher appreciation ideas we are using at our school for door decorating and spoiling the teachers along with a bunch of teacher appreciation gift ideas from others.

15 Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas

Teacher Appreciation Week: Sweet/Candy Theme Ideas:

Our theme at our school this year is “How Sweet It Is To Be Taught By You!” I think we have some fun things put together and some fun ideas, so I am going to start out by sharing those with you. I’ll give you a run down of our week and show you a few pictures!

We are kicking things off by handing out a lollipop and a schedule to the teachers the week before so they know what to expect:

I created a cute graphic for this that I will share with you so that you can use it as well if you would like to.

Our schedule for the week looks like this:

Here’s one you can use for yourself! Just right click and save and then use it in a photo program on your computer or use an online one like Pic Monkey. (The font I used is KG Next To Me Sketched which you can download free from DaFont.com)

Teacher Appreciation Door Decorating Ideas:

We had all of the room moms decorate doors in the building with the “sweet” theme. I took pics of some of my favorites to give you some ideas:

Monday: Candy Bar in the Teacher’s Lounge. We have a bunch of cute jars that will be filled with all different types of candy in the teacher’s lounge that day that the teachers can eat or take home.

We are also giving them a cute little bag of candy with a tag during the assembly that morning while the principal (she’s a trooper) sings “How Sweet It Is To Be Taught By You!”

Tuesday: Tuesday morning the teachers will be treated to a sweet breakfast in the teacher’s lounge. We are serving sweet rolls, muffins, fruit and dip.

Wednesday: The PTA is sponsoring a staff appreciation lunch.

Thursday: Mini cupcake bar in the teacher’s lounge! Super excited for this one! We’ll be serving my favorite-the salted caramel ones as well as chocolate and peanut butter, mint, coconut, red velvet and coconut.

Hello! I try to plan little (and not so little) treats and events for our staff every month or so. It’s exhausting trying to think of things. Thanks for all the posts and ideas – keep ’em coming! LOL

Loads of great ideas here, although some are very time consuming!

I loved the beach buckets full of goodies! I was looking to see if I could make a gift instead of buying one but I think I’ll stick to buying one!

If it interests anyone, I think I’m going to get a mix and match of a few of these gifts from the site below, I have a few kids and 2 of them have an assistant teacher that really goes the extra mile, and so these gifts were well priced and because I was getting 5 in total, I got a free delivery (I live in the UK) 🙂

    I hope this helped!

I love all of your ideas and appreciate your sharing of them. You have inspired me at a time when I’m feeling a bit drained. I am running a week’s worth of Teacher Appreciation days next week for our school. Could you please share your graphic for the upcoming week’s schedule of events? It is soooo cute and I’m unable to find it on your page.
“I created a cute graphic for this that I will share with you so that you can use it as well if you would like to.”
    Gratefully yours,
    Lisa

These are super cute. I always get down to the end of the year and can’t think of what to get teachers.

Wow you have been busy. I did several things when my son was in elementary school. I had a clay pot baked I am not sure if it was a cake (so long ago) and did flowers with sugar gems. She kept it on her table at home. Then I decided the rest of the time I would do supplies. I would pick them up when kids start back to school and get them for great prices. Then put them in a special basket. One lady make a blanket with the kids faces. Personally I don’t see that one, because they go through class after class each year and where would you hang it.

I just got Singer 5 pro and had the worst time threading it and finally got it so it sews and Io whipped out two fleece blankets. I am pretty proud to say.

Thanks for saying all your goodies you do and find.
