They’re done! Four costumes for four cute little boys. I love to make my boys’ Halloween costumes (see past years costumes here) but this is the first year that I have sewn all 4 costumes from scratch. It went amazingly well.
May I introduce you first, to a little monster:
So cute and so snuggly! That’s the softest fabric in the world. I am going to be squeezing him constantly.
We also have two wild animals. Brace yourselves:
They’re fierce. And they haven’t taken those costumes off since I finished them about 10 days ago. I love that. The cheetah even wore his to a college football game last Saturday. Definitely a hit with the coeds.
And last I present you with the Greek God of the Seas, Poseidon:
I love that my 4th grader wanted to be Poseidon. So cool! And easy to do. I sewed a simple toga type thing, bought a crown and glued seashells on it and bought a devil’s pitchfork and spray painted it gold and Viola! Poseidon.

How neat to make a costume I wish I had your talent. My grandson who is one is going as the dentist from the Rudolph animated cartoon his mom made the costume.

I responded on facebook too, but I got the fabric at Joann’s and I didn’t use a pattern-just winged it.
