My baby brother graduated from high school this week meaning my parents are finally done having kids in school (after about 28 years of it). I feel like I should have sent them a present, but instead I sent my baby brother one.
OK, it’s not as cool as a new computer or a car and I am sure he really appreciated the big bow (just what every 18 year old boy wants) but you can’t beat cookies right?
I got a cute jar (because again, cute is key for 18 year old boys right?) at Hobby Lobby. I believe they usually cost about $5 but they were on sale for 50% off. Or you could just use a 40% off coupon (they always have one available, just google it.)
I made these cookies and filled the jar with them then added the Smart Cookie label.
I’ve created a free printable smart cookie label for you to use.
Free Printable Labels:
Mr. Smart Cookie for a boy
Mrs. Smart Cookie for a girl.
I printed mine on a shipping label so that it had a sticky back on it. But you can glue it on if you need to.
To spice it up a little, I put a gift card inside. You could put a gift card to anywhere or add money.
Quick and easy!

Great idea…I really like it.
gift pakistan
if i had a sister and if she made me this for my graduation, i’d have cried.. Coming from a guy who didnt cry after watching ‘marley and me’ (but felt really sad), this is significant emotion! I think this is the best grad day gift a sister could give her brother.. Beats gifts such as ipods and laptops hands down.. Sentiment counts..
Love this idea!
But I have a few questions, where can I get the jars? What size are the jars? And how many cookies can you fit?
I git mine at Hobby Lobby. They have them in any size you could want.
