It’s always fun during the holidays to have a cute little project to work on with the kids or for the kids. These little white chocolate covered marshmallow snowmen are just the thing for little people. They’re easy to make and the kids can make their own which they will love! And there’s a secret surprise inside. (They’ve got caramel hiding under the white chocolate!) Here’s these cute little chocolate covered snowman:
Cute and yummy too! And you can do a version with a little hat if you want:
I think these would be perfect for a holiday party with the kids. They really are easy enough for little hands. These yummy treats can get kind of messy but it’s easy to clean up with Huggies® Wipes!
Want to make some? Bet you’ll have fun doing it!
- Large Marshmallows (3-4 per snowman)
- Caramels to melt
- White melting chocolate
- Edible Eyes
- Candy to decorate
- Chocolate cookies (if you want to add the hat)
- Melting chocolate (if you want to add the hat)
- Huggies® Wipes for cleanup
Start by putting your marshmallows on the straw:
If you are adding a hat, put a cookie between the last marshmallow and use 4 marshmallows instead of three.
Then you’ll want to melt your caramel and spoon it over your marshmallows. If you are doing the hat version, just be careful to get it only on your three bottom marshmallows only.
Let that set up completely. You can pop it in the fridge to speed up the process if you want.
You’ll then want to do the same with the white chocolate.
Then while your chocolate is still wet, put the face and buttons on. If you’re adding the hat, you’ll then want to spoon on your milk chocolate.
Look how much fun little hands can have doing this!
And look how cute it can turn out when a five-year-old is making the face!
And look how messy it can get when a five-year-old is making the snowman. We had chocolate all over-which means he had a good time!
And I didn’t mind because it cleaned up quick and easy with a couple of Huggies® Wipes. I love them because they are triple the thickness and wipe up messes so easily!
I just keep them right there to wipe up as we go and it makes it so easy!
My boys got really excited about making these and eating these. It was a really fun project for us to do on a Saturday afternoon. It made them happy, it made me happy. Loved it.
