I have had a lot of fun with creative gift ideas lately. It’s just fun to come up with something to surprise someone and make them smile isn’t it? Today’s idea could be used for a birthday or a group thank you gift or whatever works for you! It’s a Gift Card Wreath that’s cute and also useful. Fill it up with gift cards to the recipient’s favorite places and they will love it!
It’s so simple to make too! I made mine while watching an episode of Gillmore Girls. Love it when I can watch a great show and craft at the same time! What do you do while you craft?
Gift Card Wreath:
- StyrofoamWreath Form
- Curling ribbon in bright colors
- Small pins
- Gift Cards
Cut a long piece of curling ribbon. Run your scissors along it to curl it. Then snip it into small pieces that are about 4 inches (measuring it while it is curled, not uncurled).
Begin pinning the ribbon pieces all round your wreath:
And just keep going until you have it as full as you want it.
Then, tape your gift cards to tooth picks and stick them down into the wreath at an angle.
If you want to be able to hang it, add a loop of ribbon at the top and pin it in place. And you’re done!
