What’s the Project? Olaf is such a cutie and he will be even cuter when your kiddo is wearing this easy no-sew Olaf costume for Halloween! This cute snowman costume is so easy to make and comfortable to wear!
Halloween costumes are such a big deal to my kids. They start talking about what they are going to be for Halloween about a year in advance and are constantly changing and tweaking until October rolls around.
My three year old has opinions of what he is going to be this year too! He’s thinking pirate. I am thinking Olaf! Won’t that be cute? I made this Easy No Sew Olaf Costume:
Seriously-this costume is so easy to make. It should take you under an hour. Probably even less than that. And costs $20 or less as well.
He’s just so squeezable in this!
Easy No Sew Olaf Snowman Costume:
Supplies Needed:
- White Sweat Suit-I got mine at Cheapestees. A word of warning. Their shirts run VERY small! This is a size 6-7 and he’s 3. So order much larger than you think you need for the shirt.
- White stocking cap-I also got this at Cheapestees.
- Small amounts of white, black and orange fabric
- Paper backed iron on adhesive such as Heat n Bond
- Brown Pipe Cleaner
- Black Sharpie
- White Felt
Instructions:
Use these pattern pieces from my Olaf Hooded Towel to cut out parts for your Olaf. You will need to cut 2 eyebrows in black (or brown if you prefer), 4 eyes-two from white, two from black, one nose from orange, one big tooth from white felt, and then use the eye template to cut a couple of buttons as well.
Cut the Heat n Bond to match everything you just cut except the teeth and iron it onto the back.
Grab your hat and lay out your pieces.
Heat up your iron. Lay a piece of fabric between your iron and the hat and iron all of the pieces on:
Then stick your pipe cleaner through the top of the hat. Snip off the excess and bend the ends inside the hat so they don’t poke your kiddo. If you want you can even glue a piece of felt over the ends.
Draw a smile with your sharpie and your hat is done!
Add your buttons to the shirt in the same way you did the hat and you are done!
Anyone want a warm hug?
Hope you love this Olaf costume!

This looks awesome and relatively easy to make. I wish I was this creative. I usually have to make what others have done before me. Oh well, it’s still fun to make. I am going to make this for my niece this year. Thanks for sharing!

So cute! Trying to decide what to do for my daughter…she’ll only be 3 months old at Halloween. So many possibilities, but she can’t tell me her opinion…hah.
