Get Organized for 2013

Does this happen to anyone else? It’s January 1st and I am going completely nuts with some sort of crazy desire to organize EVERY aspect of my life. So far today I have completely taken down all of the Christmas decorations and spent several hours in the basement organizing. I have like 8 bags to take to Goodwill already. And I want to do this to every corner of my house and every aspect of my life. Am I crazy or do you do this too?

It’s not just my house that needs to be organized but my brain too. I need to sit down and make lists and plans and goals. It’s just what I do.

So…I’m kind of a sucker for planners. Do you know about Paper Coterie and their planners? I have a journal that I got from them last year and I LOVE it! Now I am looking at their planners:

Love ‘em. You get to personalize them with your own photos not just on the front but all the way through. And they have monthly or weekly versions available. AND they have 25% off right now with the code: ORGANIZE2013.

Just letting you know in case you are nutty like me.

  1. I do it too. Already been organizing my basement this week. I will get the sewing machine ready for you and you can come pick it up anytime tomorrow.

  2. I’m totally there with you. I’m just looking around at all the little piles tucked in drawers and on shelves, going “Where did you all come from?” Sigh.

It’s the same with creative projects of any sort sitting in my brain.

  3. Oh Yes!! I always love January because this happens to me each year! A time to clean out, clear out and clean up for a fresh New Year:)

  4. We have been purging fools here. I love this time of year too. We have bags of clothes, toys, and household items to bless another home. We have books and nooks and crannies to go through. One happy momma here!

  5. That’s me too. Flylady is the first place I visit every year. Lots of help there.Check out her 27 boogie fling. Gather up 27 things in a bag and throw them out for a start. Works for me.

    • Ha ha! Well how about 8 bags of things to get rid of. Dropped it off at the thrift store today and that’s just the start!
