Sewing Machine Deals

For those of you who haven’t heard, I am starting a Learn to Sew Series in January. Learn to Sew in 7 easy online lessons. Please join us if you have ever wanted to learn to sew!

Some of you I know are in the market for a sewing machine so that you can learn to sew. I thought maybe it would be helpful to compile a list of sewing machine deals in stores and online this week with the big Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals going on.

Here are some deals I have found. *I am not necessarily recommending these machines. I am just posting the deals I have seen. You’ll need to do your own research to decide which machine is right for you.*

If you know of others, please let me know so that we can share this information with each other. I will keep this list as updated as possible, so check back!

Before I start posting the deals I have seen, here is the machine (or closest thing I can find to it) that I started out on years and years ago. Very solid, good machine. I recommend it highly. It’s a Kenmore. I loved it. I use a Janome now, which I am told is the same brand, just the next step up. If anyone sees an extra great deal for this one, let us know! (Not that it’s a bad deal here…)

So excited for your Learn to Sew series!! My Grandma was a great seamstress and quilter but my Mother and Aunt’s don’t know enough to teach me about sewing on a sewing machine. I now have my Grandma’s Bernina sewing machine and am so excited to learn on her machine and be able to sew for my niece and nephews. Thank you for doing this series. =D

There is a link in that post to a Kenmore machine that is basically what I used for the first many years of sewing. I was running a very successful sewing business at that time and that machine was used daily and was a great little machine for me. Definitely recommend it. The link is above where the deals start.

Hi, I too am so thankful for you starting this sewing series! I haven’t done much sewing sense hi-school. I forgot most of what I learned. I’m so going to enjoy getting back in the swing of things.
